The purpose of this course is to enable students to apply discourse analytic approaches to language used in institutional and media contexts. It is also aimed at preparing students to logically and critically discuss the topics of their interest in their research.
授業概要
We will continue studying practical applications of discourse analysis to real-life situations in order to understand how language plays a crucial role in society. Students will be expected to present their own data analysis along with presenting on key concepts in relevant references.
