This course is designed for students who have interests in media, communication, and linguistics. As this course is interdisciplinary in nature, students will be trained to apply their knowledge in discourse analysis to other academic (yet related) disciplines of their interests.
授業概要
This seminar will introduce various topics in the field of discourse analysis. We will focus on topics that are both perpetuating and current. Data used in class will be taken from the media or real-life situations. As this course aims at dealing with most current events happening in the society, topics are subject to change.
