By the end of this course, students will (1) be able to read a research article on second language learning (2) be able to critically evaluate a research article on second language learning (3) be able to find an academic source in the library (4) be able to use a variety of reading strategies to understand and evaluate a text (5) be able to understand and use a large variety of academic vocabulary words (6) be able to plan and conduct a research study.
授業概要
In this course, students will read and evaluate, and make connections between research articles on an area of second language learning of their own interest. In the second half of the term, students will carry out a project related to the analysis and/or development of teaching materials or teaching, or second language learning.
