The aim of this course is to appreciate film and poetry in depth. We will discuss topics such as the importance of words and the significance of our lives.
授業概要
This course is an introduction to poetry and film. In Dead Poets Society, a motion picture written by Tom Schulman, Mr. Keating (Robin Williams) comes to Welton Academy and introduces the world of poetry to the boys. We will watch the film, enjoy the poems, and discuss how the world of poetry influences our lives. We will also refer to the screenplay and to N. H. Kleinbaum's novelization of the film.
