The aim of this course is to appreciate poetry in depth, or to perceive poetical works from various perspectives.
授業概要
This course is an introduction to poetry and also an introduction to prose. In Dead Poets Society, a motion picture written by Tom Schulman, Mr. Keating (Robin Williams) comes to Welton Academy and introduces the world of poetry to the boys. We will watch the film, enjoy the poems, and discuss how the world of poetry influences our lives. We will also refer to N. H. Kleinbaum's novelization of the film.
