The overall goal of this course is to introduce students to basic processes in second language learning. Students will be able to reflect critically on their second language learning experiences and use their knowledge of second language learning approaches to develop original classroom activities.

In this course, students will be able to 1) reflect critically on their second language learning experiences; 2)evaluate different approaches to learning a second language; 3) contrast different processes in second language learning such as input, output and interaction and 4) design original classroom activities that teach grammar and communication.
