授業概要
This course will familiarize students with major theories, issues, concepts and analytical approaches in the field of discourse/text studies. It will also provide students with hands-on practical experience of discourse/text analysis using authentic discourse/text as data. The textbook, which mainly deals with spoken discourse, will be supplemented with readings on a range of topics including the language of the mass-media.
