The purpose of this course is to enable students to apply discourse analytic method to critically observe language use in social contexts.
授業概要
Through studying practical applications of discourse analysis to real-life situations, this course aims at understanding how language plays a crucial role in various social contexts. Students will be encouraged to collect their own data, analyze them critically, and discuss their findings in class.
