Students will be introduced to some analysis techniques and media theories that are useful in studying the media and writing a critical paper about one's own findings.

This course will introduce several articles and research papers as examples of an in-depth analysis of some of the current issues about the media and its effects in shaping our national and global culture. Note that the course topics mentioned below are subject to change.
