The postmodern imagination is characterized by revisionism and multiplicity. We will read works by writers representing the multiplicity of American culture and the power that expression gains from the freedom from tradition in the postmodern imagination.
課題・評価
A short test will be given on each reading assignment. Participation in discussions in class will be a part of the evaluation. The final exam will consist of one essay question to be written in paragraph writing form in English.
