This course is an introduction to poetry and also an introducation to prose. In Il Postino, a film based on Antonio Skarmeta's novel, Mario, the postman, through the tutelage of Pablo Neruda, the poet, learns to express his ideas through poetry. We will watch the film and enjoy the love poems by Pablo Neruda and other famous poets.
